Helloooo..........

Right where do i start i have wanted to get back into my blog for a while and  think i'm going to, the below post (where it starts hello guys and gals) was written in 2018, i wrote it intending to post it and just never got round to it but i wanted to share it anyway. A lot of things have happened since then and a whole year has passed but i feel like i want to start writing again, i literally have no idea what things i'm going to put in this time round but i suppose it will be a surprise. I will probably start by telling you where i have been and what i was up to then i will see what flows out onto my blog pages ha ha. the below post did mention maybe doing giveaways and i could still do that, well i'm going to post this because its super long already, its nice to be back and see you soon, also thanks for reading x

Hello guys and gals,

Long time no write (except for the review I did the other day ha ha), where have I been you may wonder?, where have all the meal and smoothie recipe's gone that I was uploading weekly?, where have all the random posts about what I have been up to gone?.
Welllll not to be to clichΓ© but yes life got to me..... I have been so busy and the times where I haven't been busy I have been super tired.

I have a lot of changes coming up soon which I am super excited about, I have had my ups and downs but now im on the up up up.

Soooo, something I have done while I haven't posted?, well my brother-in-law got married and me and my beautiful girls and partner were all bridesmaids and best man, it was in Santorini in Greece and boy was it hot!!!! I literally couldn't cope, even sitting In the shade wasn't enough, the kids were there loving it cooling down in the pool, but it was one of them dilemmas where its super hot and the pool looks so inviting but then the pool is super cold and hard to get into.......where is the in between ha ha. 2 weeks before we went to Santorini for the wedding us girls went to Budapest for the hen do and it was AMAZING!. First of all it is so so cheap over there, you can either pay in euros or Hungarian forint, we paid in forint as it was cheaper and we had an amazing relaxing time. Our apartment was amazing just perfect for four girls to share, I was impressed that it was all mod cons and done up to a seriously high spec but as well we had a freaking playstation 3 and games there waiting on the side ha ha. The only downside was walking up about 8 flights of bloody stairs to get to the apartment, man were they a killer!! especially when you had been out all day walking I the blistering heat, lucky for us it had a top of the range air con system so it was cool for when we arrived back.
The sights in Budapest were so good, there were so many places to go see/visit and I loved all the little statues dotted around the city, there is no beach in Budapest but we found a Turkish baths and decided to visit there for the day. I t was heaven we found sun loungers and positioned them over looking the outdoor wave pool and just relaxed all day, it had other pools outside as well as heated Jacuzzi baths then also a few massive pools inside, some heated for you to relax in.

Would I go back to Budapest?............. most definitely we made the most of our time there, we looked on Instagram for the top places recommended for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner and visited some quirky bars and restaurants. One place we went we walked in and it was a few bars inside but outside at same time if that makes sense, graffiti all over the walls, very rustic, sounds rough but it was amazing. Also we visited a nightclub that was 17 clubs in one!!!!! 17.....  I don't know how they did it but it was mad we ad to keep going back to the map on the wall to figure out where we were, we didn't end up staying long because it was so busy but it was crazy there.

Well that's a few things I have been up to I say I will be back to post some recipies soon and hopefully I will, right at this moment I will so lets just say you will hopefully see some soon ha ha

Thanks for reading
Love
Chezney

P.s I might start doing a few giveaways on here soon, probably starting with a few books, I was thinking to write a review on them then if anyone would like to win one I would do a little competition and give it away, what do you think?, I have thousands of books at home so this is a good way to make sure they will go to someone who will enjoy them as much as I have.

Wembley.... So Proud! x

Hi Guys,
Here i am again with another post! as promised. 2 days in a row check me out πŸ˜„

So as you can guess from the title this post is all about my experience at Wembley, where i went to watch my hometown get what they deserved...... a promotion to the premier league!!. If your unaware of the football team i am talking about it is Huddersfield Town, they played Reading at Wembley on Monday 29th May in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final and they WON!!!, that means they are now in the Premiership along with the other big clubs. This includes the team i support which is Liverpool!.

Now you might be thinking but i thought you supported Huddersfield why do you also support Liverpool?, Well why not?, my mum and dad were Liverpool supporters and i have been one since birth, Huddersfield is my hometown and i will always be proud of what they achieve. I have heard comments like people are only going to Wembly for a day out, they dont go to all the matches, why are they now so interested etc?. Well its true i dont go to all the Huddersfield town matches, i dont own their shirts, and i dont have a season ticket, but that doesn't mean  am not allowed to support them, feel proud for them and stand on the sidelines cheering them on in one of the biggest matches of their season. That's like saying i'm not allowed to watch England in the world cup because i dont go to all the England matches!, I had the opportunity to go and support my hometown and that is exactly what i did. I didn't see it as a day out without the kids to go and get drunk and shout stuff alongside other football fans, I went there, paid attention and watched the whole of the game (well except for a quick toilet brake!), cheered, chanted and sang. I was nervous when it came down to penalties and both happy and emotional when they won. Nobody looked down on me while i was there, nobody knew weather i went to all the matches or not, everybody celebrated together, people who didn't know each other before that day hugged and cheered each other, and friends got to share the experience with their other friends and partners. It was a fantastic day, i thoroughly enjoyed it and i am happy i had the chance to be there on the day and share in the excitement of their promotion!.

Few Photos from the day x

I did have a video too but its too big to upload, it was of the celebration at the end. I am so proud of how far the lads have come and  think they will do a cracking job in the premier league, i may not be able to get to the matches but i can watch it on TV, that still counts dont it?. 😊

Well thanks for reading guys, i might even make a little video of the Wembly photos and videos and post it on my YouTube channel, (if you want to check out my channel btw its cherelly, feel free to like comment and subscribe 😏) if i do i will let you know in the next post, until then, seeya soon xx

My little girl said she wasn't feeling too good and that her neck hurt, i felt her neck ad felt a small lump behind her ear, the doctors were closed so i rang 111 and managed to get an appointment elsewhere, as that was in the afternoon we headed to town to buy some pain relief medication, had a little walk round town then headed to the doctors. 2nd Fitness post!!

Hi all, first off i have to say i'm sorry this post is late, only by a day though so better late the never eh!. I got back late Sunday night from a weekends away and one of my girls is a little under the weather so this is the first chance i have to post.

So this is the 2nd Fitness post i am about to upload, i am doing one every week about what i have got up to fitness wise the following week. As you all know last week was the first week of the two week Easter break and because i have my two beautiful girls with me for two whole weeks instead of being in school i cant get to the gym so have to find a different way of keeping up with the exercises, so this may be a short post ha ha, Any way i will get on with is so check out my week below! πŸ‘‡πŸ˜Š

Monday
So i started out with the squat challenge, this time my girls had the pleasure of joining in with me, they loved it one was counting along as we did each squat πŸ˜„. We did plenty of walking and i did some exercises using an app i have on my mobile called workouts. On the app you can choose from Ab, Arm, Butt, Cardio, Leg or Full Body, workouts then the program will ask you to choose between a 5,8 or 10 minute workout, once chosen desired time it will play different exercises for you to do non- stop till the time is up. I currently have an iphone so if you want to check this app out type in workouts to the app store, the app cover is a white square with a blue jogging lady in a blue circle, there is also another good app i also use called simply yoga that is again a white square with a pink woman doing a yoga pose in a pink circle, check them out, pretty good if you cant get to the gym.

Tuesday
Today was rest day for the squat challenge so i didn't have to do that ha ha, Today i spent the whole day doing the garden, digging it over and my gosh it was such hard work!,i  feel that was a good enough work out, sweated so much and my whole body ached especially my arms!.

Wednesday
Started with squat challenge again with the girls, enjoyed a lovely meal at my aunties house then walked to my mums, got some lovely scenery picks from the hill walk, unfortunately because the sun was shining they are a little dark, i also did another work out using the workouts app.

Thursday
Literally did the same as i did yesterday except for the hill walk, Just squat challenge and home workout.

Friday
had time to fit in the squat challenge before i went away for the weekend to visit family

Saturday
family time, missed the squat challenge today but did go on a lovely walk on the beach with the families dogs in Redcar and also visited Whitby and walked round the town sightseeing.

Sunday
Visited a gym in Middlesborough to get a quick session in, we got in free because it was the first time we had been. It was called the lifestyle fitness, and is honestly the best gym i have ever visited hands down, It was huge they had two floors and every single machine/piece of equipment you could think of even monkey bars and Olympic rings, it also had a ladies only room with cardio and weight sections, as well as a fully stocked health bar and they even sold fitness products like protein powder, shakes etc, i wish they had that gym where i lived. So had a fab early morning work out there.

I did have some pictures to post in this post but it wont let me for some reason so i will post them in the next post, smoothie recipe below. πŸ‘‡

For this weeks smoothie i have chosen the Kale and Grapefruit Smoothie

This smoothie is amazing for weight loss because it has a low calorie content, plus the grapefruit is known for it benefits on boosting digestion and weight loss.

  • 2 grapefruits, cut into segments
  • 4 kale leaves, stems removed
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of low fat yogurt

My New blogging plan!

So i mentioned in an earlier post that i had written down loads of new ideas on what i wanted to include in my blog and that it needed sorting out with more detail and review dates etc!. WELL i did it!, i finally got chance on Sunday while the girls were busy playing, to sort trough all the ideas i had, i got my new book and sorted it into sections, blog, YouTube and beauty recommended (will explain about this more in a separate post), i then bullet pointed my ideas, wrote in detail what they were, then wrote release dates/when i wanted to start the content.

5 PAGES LATER!!, Its finally sorted and written down, i have all my dates and i am so excited to let you know that i will be posting my first fitness section on Saturday the 8th April. This will be a weekly post about my fitness regime at the gym, how I've eaten, products i use e.g. shakes, Pre-workout and i may add a meal and smoothie recipe each week. I will also post fitness challenges that i undertake so you can join in with me and will share pictures of products, meals and exercise plans.

I hope you will like it i am looking forward to it and i may even let you in on how much i  have lost!

As for my other blog ideas their is certainly a lot more in the pipeline, i am actually getting organised and it feels so good.

So this post is short and sweet but i hope you will come and join me on my fitness journey on Saturday 8th April πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Yet Another birthday coming up...........

Wow didn't realize how long it had been since i last posted,
now i know this blog might not be interesting to people, i mean for all i know no-one could read it, i decided to start this blog just to let people know a bit about me and my interests and because i like to write, to some it might not be interesting but hey i cant please everyone, and if you do read this (or your reading this post right now) then i would just like to say thank you for taking the time to sit and read what i have written.

Now i am sooooo excited because my youngest little monster turns six in two weeks..... SIX i cant believe it, seriously where does the time go?. Being a parent can be hard and stressful but yet so rewarding, first of all its amazing to think you can grow a tiny human being inside your body in the first place, then along comes this beautiful baby who is totally dependent on you to look after them, you put so much time and effort into taking care of them, you become tired, stressed if you are lacking sleep, close to pulling your hair out at times, but when that child looks at you and smiles its amazing, your a mummy, your a daddy to this little person and that little person's love for you is so pure, your their hero. To watch your child do something you have taught them, say something you have taught them or use their manners that you have taught them, makes you feel like your on top of the world and when thy call you mummy or daddy for the first time or say they love you, its amazing, no amount of money or achievement could ever match the feeling you get inside from them words. and if your not a parent yet then nieces, nephews even baby cousins who may look up to you or who your close to can offer the same feelings, like your heart could literally burst!!! My little lady is so grown up now she ain't a baby anymore but she still likes her cuddles, she sat on my knee the other day and snuggled in and i smelt the top of her head and it was like her newborn baby smell, her own unique smell and it was so comforting. I know i'm not crazy when  i say their own unique smell, just like each child looks different they have their own smell, i remember when i used to work in a nursery i could pick up a jumper and smell it and be able to tell which child it belonged to ha ha. She is having a party for her birthday too the joys of looking after 16 5-6 year old's!!! we are having it at a party place though so i'm glad i will have help, its just trying to keep the parents that decide to stay entertained, can be pretty awkward when its school friends parent because besides the school run i never really talk to them much ha ha.

Once her birthday is over i have to think about Christmas, i'm actually so excited my two still believe in Santa so i can do the whole Christmas letters and Christmas eve box surprise for them, this year i'm also doing something different. ill tell u what i usually do, I send off for personalized Christmas letters from Santa and save them, i then put together a Christmas eve box, last year it had a note from Santa to say that they have been very good and deserved a little treat before Christmas day it was left on the doorstep after a knock at the door, it had their letters in alongside this personalized note, hot chocolate, magic milk straws, (turn a normal glass of milk into chocolate milk), popcorn, reindeer dust with a poem on to sprinkle outside before bed so the reindeer can find their way to you and two dvds one Christmas one and one that was Santa's favorite. This year i'm doing something extra, ill still do the Christmas eve box but this year they will receive a parcel on the the 1st of Dec, it will again have a letter from Santa but it will have 24 wrapped presents, these are books they will be able to open one every night before bed and read it with mummy or daddy. We also do letters to Santa, we send them off (to nana) and she sends them a written one back.

Love all the craft things to do at Christmas too, ill share some on here closer to the time along with the reindeer dust recipe

i relize this is a log post so i will stop rambling and wrap it up, thank you for reading and i will try post sooner

p.s Hope everyone had a lovely Halloween my house was taken over by a zombie Anna and a witch Elsa :)

Fab Birthday*****

Hi guys,

So in my previous posts i explained that i was going to celebrate a friends birthday and my own and i think i wrote about how much fun i had on my friends birthday too. Its so nice when you get to share a birthday with your friends i just like to see how much fun they have and try help them to have an amazing night, the best bit for me is giving them a gift i think i get more excited than them cause i just love to see their reaction and love it even more when they tell me they liked it ha ha.

Anyway it was my birthday on Tuesday (25th Oct) and i have to say i have had an amazing time, it started the weekend before (22nd), i went out with my partner and one of my best friends and her partner, we went to an amazing Mexican restaurant called Gringos, the food was amazing but the decor was even better SKULLS EVERYWHERE!!!! i'm a huge skulls fan i just love them. My meal was paid for by my partner then we decided to go out of town to a tiki bar, we had looked online and seen the cocktail menu and we were all excited to go and sample some different cocktails, only when we got there the bloody place was closed!!!! we tried ringing the bar and everything but no luck, wasted taxi journey but at least we had had a drink in  a different bar before going to the tiki bar, so we decided to find another place to drink, no such luck!, we ended up in another taxi to another town, and went to a different cocktail bar. This cocktail bar was small but the cocktails were lovely i had a cherry cola bottle cocktail and a kinder bueno one...... so nice, my partner had a long island ice tea and a sourz cola bottle cocktail...... too sweet for him ha ha, the best bit about the cocktails were u got sweets with them i had a shot glass full of cherry cola cola bottles ha ha. We didn't end up staying out too late or getting too drunk but it was a fab night.

Sunday i had a lovely surprise from my partner and children, birthday gifts and a chocolate cake brought in with them all singing happy birthday. I had them early because my partner works away so wouldn't be there for my birthday.

Tuesday was brill too i received vouchers, so ended up going into town and spoiling myself then headed to my mums for a birthday tea (she put a candle in my lasagna ha ha), i also got loads of messages wishing me happy birthday and a phone call from my partner, He really spoilt me this year and i am so grateful i love the man so much, amazing presents, meal and money and a beautiful card and when i said thank you his words were "you deserve it babe". that makes me smile even more just them words alone.

That then wasn't the end on Saturday my mum made me some soul food (was amazing) gave me some jewelry, clothes and money for a tattoo that i have been wanting. then put on a buffet of food in the evening and made me a cake.... been so spoilt

I dont give to receive and dont think birthdays are all about presents (although it is nice to receive them) i would be content with a happy birthday even if its just written on face book, the reason i say this is because i wait for a message from my dad, i didn't get one last year and i didnt think i would this year but then i finally received it at about 7:30 at night and it put a smile on my face.

well half term is nearly over, birthday done and back to work and school for the kids tomorrow, now to get ready to halloweenify (new word i made up ha ha) the house tomorrow for my girls, not taking them out this year but were gonna have fun and do some spooky stuff indoors, ill let you know how it all went

thanks for reading

been away

ok so I haven't posted for a while but I am really sorry, probably not best to post a down moods post then not return for a while but i'm fine.

it will be so much easier when I finally get my computer up and running at home, at the moment I have to write my posts here in the library on the computer or on my phone (and its a bit of a pain on my phone).

its not going to be a massive update just thought while i'm here in the library I will do a little post.

school holidays are nearly over thank the lord, although I have enjoyed spending time with my beautiful girls im more than ready for them to go back to school and me to start my new job!
MY NEW JOB!!!!
I really cant wait, I will be working in the special educational needs sector with children and young adults from 3-19yrs, I used to be a SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator)   in my last job and did a lot of one-to-one work with children who had a special need, and now im going to a school specifically for children who need extra help. I love to make a difference and help children reach their full potential. I have worked within childcare for around 12 years and it has been amazing, going from a modern apprentice, to nursery practitioner,to, nursery nurse with children 18m-5yrs, to senior team leader with babies, to SENCO, to deputy manager as well as behaviour co-ordinator and safe-guarding lead.
working with children from 3 months up to school leaving age has been amazing now I am ready to work with children from 3 years right up to young adult of 19!.
one of the most rewarding parts of the job is helping a child reach their goal, weather it be helping a baby to smile and laugh, say their first word, walk, crawl, eat - right up to writing their own names, counting or even learning actions to a song.
another part I loved was the parents!!! it felt amazing to have a parent who really liked you and was comfortable enough to leave their 3 month old child with you as they popped off to work for the day. Assuring them that their child would be fine and its perfectly normal for them to cry when you leave but that they are in safe hands and they don't cry for long. i've had parents wonder how I got their child to eat a certain thing and how I got them to sleep so fast without their comforter and even ask me for advice on things. I have had children with loads of allergies and their parents be apprehensive about leaving them but then to be told a month later that they cant believe how far they have come along and how well they have done with their allergies.
looking after children is just a rewarding experience, you learn from them every day, and you have to prepare yourself for new challenges, I have faced ,many challenges over the years but I am still here to tell the tale.
if u need help you know where to find me

Day turned out to be great!

So yesterday after letting you know about my disaster of leaving the kids clothes at home, the rest of the day turned out to be pretty great.
First of all the train ride was ace and we got there in good time and went to McDonald's after getting off the train.... Come on who doesn't like McDonald's ha ha. Then treated the girls to a swimming pool from Argos I swear it huge (mention this later). So after this we went to the mother in laws house to get changed as it was boiling hot! Like 27oC!!! Luckily when I opened my case I spotted two of the girls jumpsuits! πŸ™ŒπŸ½ was so happy so got them in their costumes (ones from their aunties house we just stayed at πŸ˜‚) with their jumpsuits over top and they were set. We explored the surroundings a bit and found two brand new parks (mother in law lives on a new build estate it's so amazing.... Well jealous ha ha) then after we headed down to the beach front.
We went to this amazing outdoor water park on the sea front it was fenced in and had a massive adventure play castle, zip line, park, mini adventure park for the toddlers, cafe, picnic benches and places to sunbathe, toilets, then in the middle was a big soft Tarmac area with water fountains in the middle, all different shapes and size, sprinkler machines and a big tower that poured water down in streams. The girls loved it and it was so cheap, only £2 a child and adults were free, you would think for this price the cafe would be expensive but no that was cheap too!
After fun in the park we went across the road and had fun on the beach, digging holes and swimming in the sea!
We also found a little shop to buy some more girls clothes ha ha
Once back we opened the swimming pool in the garden to see how big it was!. Now when looking at them in Argos we saw a cheap one but it had a picture of a baby in it and wasn't much room left and I thought no both girls won't fit!, so we got one for £9.99 and didn't realise how big it actually was till we unraveled it both the girls and me were in it (and could fit two more) and I could even lie down flat it bloody huge!!! Gonna take ages to fill πŸ˜–
So after feeling down about leaving the bag, my day turned out to be ace!
