been away

ok so I haven't posted for a while but I am really sorry, probably not best to post a down moods post then not return for a while but i'm fine.

it will be so much easier when I finally get my computer up and running at home, at the moment I have to write my posts here in the library on the computer or on my phone (and its a bit of a pain on my phone).

its not going to be a massive update just thought while i'm here in the library I will do a little post.

school holidays are nearly over thank the lord, although I have enjoyed spending time with my beautiful girls im more than ready for them to go back to school and me to start my new job!
MY NEW JOB!!!!
I really cant wait, I will be working in the special educational needs sector with children and young adults from 3-19yrs, I used to be a SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator)   in my last job and did a lot of one-to-one work with children who had a special need, and now im going to a school specifically for children who need extra help. I love to make a difference and help children reach their full potential. I have worked within childcare for around 12 years and it has been amazing, going from a modern apprentice, to nursery practitioner,to, nursery nurse with children 18m-5yrs, to senior team leader with babies, to SENCO, to deputy manager as well as behaviour co-ordinator and safe-guarding lead.
working with children from 3 months up to school leaving age has been amazing now I am ready to work with children from 3 years right up to young adult of 19!.
one of the most rewarding parts of the job is helping a child reach their goal, weather it be helping a baby to smile and laugh, say their first word, walk, crawl, eat - right up to writing their own names, counting or even learning actions to a song.
another part I loved was the parents!!! it felt amazing to have a parent who really liked you and was comfortable enough to leave their 3 month old child with you as they popped off to work for the day. Assuring them that their child would be fine and its perfectly normal for them to cry when you leave but that they are in safe hands and they don't cry for long. i've had parents wonder how I got their child to eat a certain thing and how I got them to sleep so fast without their comforter and even ask me for advice on things. I have had children with loads of allergies and their parents be apprehensive about leaving them but then to be told a month later that they cant believe how far they have come along and how well they have done with their allergies.
looking after children is just a rewarding experience, you learn from them every day, and you have to prepare yourself for new challenges, I have faced ,many challenges over the years but I am still here to tell the tale.
if u need help you know where to find me

Day turned out to be great!

So yesterday after letting you know about my disaster of leaving the kids clothes at home, the rest of the day turned out to be pretty great.
First of all the train ride was ace and we got there in good time and went to McDonald's after getting off the train.... Come on who doesn't like McDonald's ha ha. Then treated the girls to a swimming pool from Argos I swear it huge (mention this later). So after this we went to the mother in laws house to get changed as it was boiling hot! Like 27oC!!! Luckily when I opened my case I spotted two of the girls jumpsuits! 🙌🏽 was so happy so got them in their costumes (ones from their aunties house we just stayed at 😂) with their jumpsuits over top and they were set. We explored the surroundings a bit and found two brand new parks (mother in law lives on a new build estate it's so amazing.... Well jealous ha ha) then after we headed down to the beach front.
We went to this amazing outdoor water park on the sea front it was fenced in and had a massive adventure play castle, zip line, park, mini adventure park for the toddlers, cafe, picnic benches and places to sunbathe, toilets, then in the middle was a big soft Tarmac area with water fountains in the middle, all different shapes and size, sprinkler machines and a big tower that poured water down in streams. The girls loved it and it was so cheap, only £2 a child and adults were free, you would think for this price the cafe would be expensive but no that was cheap too!
After fun in the park we went across the road and had fun on the beach, digging holes and swimming in the sea!
We also found a little shop to buy some more girls clothes ha ha
Once back we opened the swimming pool in the garden to see how big it was!. Now when looking at them in Argos we saw a cheap one but it had a picture of a baby in it and wasn't much room left and I thought no both girls won't fit!, so we got one for £9.99 and didn't realise how big it actually was till we unraveled it both the girls and me were in it (and could fit two more) and I could even lie down flat it bloody huge!!! Gonna take ages to fill 😖
So after feeling down about leaving the bag, my day turned out to be ace!

Travelling disaster!!!

Travelling don't you just hate it sometimes! Why does it have to turn out to be soooo stressful sometimes urgghhhh. I'm literally so frustrated right now it's unbelievable. So I am travelling down to my mother in laws for the week with the girls, first stop is my sister in laws, we load the car and everything, set off and the journey ain't too bad we finally get there about 1hr 45ish minutes later and bring the case and duvet in etc, sit there for about 10 minutes and the mother in law brings in some thing she has bought the girls pyjamas etc, then it dawns on me..... I look towards my partner and say please tell me you packed their trunkie with all their clothes in cause I didn't ?
Yeah....
YEAH!!!! That's right their trunkie wasn't packed I was so angry, frustrated, annoyed, upset it's so bad my partner has to work so he is going home and I'm getting the train with my mother in law to her house. Soooooo now I have to buy them ALL NEW CLOTHES for the bloody week.... I'm so wounded right now I could cry. You know when you pack them the nicest clothes too especially because I was informed that it was going to be hot, so they had little dresses, summery tops etc. Now i hope my partner has a few days free because he said he would come see us then he can bring the trunkie with him. GOSH!!!!!
I am trying to be positive too but it's still in the back of my mind I'm legit really upset it's not bloody fair 😞😞😞. I had the perfect outfits for the beach and water park and everything I swear if I could drive I would drive the 6 hours it takes from my mother in laws and go home just to pick it up. Now I'm on the train and I at least have a seat until the stop before mine, then the rightful owner will come on and kick me out of it (person who booked the seat 😂) i don't mind though I'll only have to stand up till the next stop.
It's funny how little things can get you down so much, it hasn't bothered the girls that I left their clothes and my partner and mother in law say just buy some more but I'm heartbroken lol. Now onwards with my journey for the next 3 or so hours till I reach our destination. Then I'll let you in on the fun we have x

Just a random post

Ok so not even half way through the day and I've already had coffee spilt on me, and this is me trying to be productive and get out of the house!!!
Come into town and decide to treat the girls to lunch in a café before we head to the library, stood in the line and one man orders two coffee's, pull's them towards him and spills a whole cup all over the floor and me..... first of all there was a ledge....a freaking LEDGE , why would you think you could pull a coffee safely towards you down a ledge, he was even wearing glasses!!!. so i'm there wiping all this coffee off my trousers (thank god I had dark trousers on, imagine if they were white!!!) while he prances around with no coffee on him at all, then he casually looks over and says oh sorry then walks away.... I swear if looks could kill!!.
On a side note I love people watching who would of thought there would be funny people in the quiet library, as I type there is a man sat across from me using another computer, he has his headphones in and he is bopping away to the music, actions and all!!, mouthing the lyrics, head banging and even tapping out the beat on the desk (that bit is a little annoying), then there is another guy, I have seen him here before and he always does the same, another headphone guy but this one watches clips of keith lemons celebrity juice on youtube and laughs away (not realising how loud he is as he has headphones on), one guy sat next to me laughing away every two seconds, then a younger lad (teen) on the other side of me face close to the screen, my time ran out so I stood up and he quickly scroll up (i'm sure I saw something that is not suitable for minors on the screen) really in a library of all places lol.
so, so far I have had a not so bad day, felt like putting it all down on here while I was here in the library and can use the computers.
oh one thing that made me smile was this - Wednesday me and the girls (my daughters) came to the library so they could sign up for the big read challenge, this is where they read six different books then at the end they get a medal and a certificate, anyway while they were choosing their books, a lady came round saying we can go up to the art gallery at the top of the library and participate in some sign making. Having nothing else to do we went up there after, they explained that we had to look round the gallery then think of a question we would ask the artist, once we had that question to write it down on a big piece of board and paint it. The girls loved it and we had such good fun. then today as we came to the library we saw each of our signs displayed outside for everyone to see in a mini art exhibition. the girls were super happy! (our questions - me - what inspired this piece?,
D - How old is the artist? and B - how did the dog die?) .....there was a stuffed dog on display lol.

Anyway enough rambling that was my day......so far today just thought id share 😊

My day today!

Do you ever feel exhausted for no reason?.... Like literally no reason at all, you slept in late and then have basically just sat around. I mean you have done little stuff like maybe go to the shop, make dinner, tidy up a bit, but then you sit down and feel you can sleep for a 1000 days lol. That's what my day has been like today! Maybe it's because I'm used to doing something everyday and being out the house but when I got up this morning I just thought today is a lazy day.... Everyone is entitled to a lazy day arnt they, the problem is when you get stuck in that mood and every day turns into a lazy day. Well I have had my one lazy day and tomorrow it's back to being fresh as a daisy and getting out of this house!!!

Lazy days can be relaxing and chilled then some lazy days can just turn wrong... My lazy day was ok watched loads of tv, chilled with my girls, messaged friends. But I've had them lazy days that have gone wrong... Maybe you know the ones.... The ones where you just sit and think about everything you think is wrong in your life and let everything get on top of you.... The ones where you feel like your the only person left in a world that is pitch black and silent..... The ones where you feel no one will understand you and you wouldn't want to have to talk to someone to try and make them understand. I hate them days and I hate it when I know someone else has them days but I'm not close enough to help them through it.
I have made a friend in the last few months, we were introduced through our partners and I can honestly say I feel like I have known her for my whole life, she and I understand each other so much, we are the same in many ways and it was today when she sent me a lovely picture message that said there are some people who could hear you speak a thousand words and still not understand you. And there are others who will understand without you even speaking a word. That I truely knew we would be friends forever, it's so lovely to have someone in your life that you know can be there for you and cheer you up just by sending a message that she knows will make me laugh like a picture of her lil cheeky one doing something crazy. It's people like these who you don't want to let go, people like this who can make you a better person, people like this who can walk down the same path as you in the darkness and hold your hand when you need to find your way, because they have walked down it many times before.
Your mind can be a dark cruel place but if you have that one person that can understand it's like lighting a candle in the dark.

I have so many thoughts and feelings I can share but I will save them for another day....

First blog post (introduction) x

Ok so here goes.... MY FIRST BLOG POST

This nearly didn't happen, then again I don't know if it will be right... I swear I should of bought a book called creating a blog for dummies (don't actually know if  said book exists), if it wasn't for my good friend I wouldn't be here writing this ha ha..... Thanks Abbie ❤️.
Ok so a bit about me......
I'm from West Yorkshire..... 28...... This is my first blog..... I am a mummy to 2 fantastic children and one thing that I really love to do is write!

This blog will hopefully be updated more than once a week, I will write about random things, one day it could be about what my day has been like, the next it could be about a rant, feelings, advice maybe or even a review. It's going to be completely random.... This blog is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to read 😂.... Ok so that was really cheesy but had to be done. I will hopefully get my first official post up in the next 24 hours and I hope who ever reads these will like them. You will probably get to know me a little better as you read my future blog posts and I honestly can't wait to start this blog journey
